Act Today to Help Hens

Tell your senators today "NOT TO CONCUR” with cruelty for hens!

Hens in Washington State need your voice in Olympia this week.

Unfortunately, the Washington State  House of Representatives just passed SB 5487 that will keep egg-laying hens in cages indefinitely. If SB 5487 passes, egg producers would now have until 2026 before they’d even need to convert to merely less cramped cages.

But you can help turn this around today! The Senate now has the opportunity to reject this legislation. Please contact your state senator and ask him/her “not to concur” with the House on SB 5487. Enter your address to identify your district and representatives. Calling is fast, easy and very impactful. Legislative staff will take your call.
