PAWSwalk: Saving Lives and Having a Blast!

Sep13

PAWSwalk Emcee Lee Callahan with her adopted dog Archie This past Saturday, September 11 was our 19th annual PAWSwalk, and it was another great success for the animals!

While our staff and volunteers are still adding up all the generous gifts, it looks like you helped us raise at least $180,000 for the thousands of dogs, cats and wildlife that PAWS will help over the next year. We couldn't possibly thank everyone enough for their gifts of time and dollars to save animal lives, but we'll sure try -- THANK YOU!

I had the opportunity to walk with the crowd and take photos of the event from start to finish. I couldn't help but smile the entire time. Those shots are posted on our Facebook Page. While you're there, "like" us and keep up-to-date on the animals your PAWSwalk dollars helped save.

SeattleWeekly.com already has some fantastic and hilarious photos from PAWSwalk up as well. We'll post the rest of the professional photos on PAWSwalk.net once they're available.

If you weren't able to join us, we hope you can get in on the fun next year! You can also still make a difference and save animal lives: give online now to help raise the PAWSwalk total even more.

Once again, thank you to everyone who made PAWSwalk a success! We could never accomplish our life-saving work without the amazing support of our community.
